Steve Jones is the EVP for Data Driven Business at Capgemini.  He was the initial leader of Capgemini’s group efforts on SaaS, Cloud, MDM and Big Data, which now represent a significant proportion of the group’s revenues and two of the groups fundamental pillars.  A published author on how businesses need to be designed for a digital world, he has also written for multiple journals from the Financial Times to Wired, as well as multiple academic publications and an international standard for data architectures. He has worked as an advisor to several of the largest technology firms, and is currently living in his 5^th different country, this time America. For the last few years his focus has been on helping businesses get ready for the coming Data & AI driven transformation, from business strategy to execution, including leading the implementation of some of the largest hyperscale data infrastructures and digital operating model transformations for several global brands, as part of this he has been helping clients on Generative AI from early GAN efforts to today’s LLM driven changes.
